Clearwater Threshers starter Jorge Marrón found his groove in his team's 10-4 win over the Jupiter Hammerheads. Marrón, who leads the FSL in complete games with 1, went the distance for Clearwater. He gave up 4 runs on 7 hits. The Threshers with just their 5th win in 27 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

Clearwater took the lead, 6-4, on Juan Castro's 9th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Castro hit in the top of the seventh, made Jupiter pitcher Don Benson wince.

"We did a lot of good things tonight," said Clearwater manager Hector Santiago.
