Fort Myers got a terrific game from right fielder Stu Prouty. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to St. Lucie, 7-4. Prouty went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Pancho Gutiérrez, the winner, goes to 4-0. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts over 6 innings. The save was credited to Kel Turner, his 8th.

Jerry Dickey, who is tied for 2nd in the FSL in runs scored with 15, aided the St. Lucie cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk.

"I felt good up there," said Dickey. "I saw the ball well."

The Miracle fall to 10-13 and continue their lackluster start in 2026.
