Getting a good performance from designated hitter Jeremy Brown, the Lakeland Flying Tigers defeated the Daytona Tortugas, 8-5. Brown went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs for the Flying Tigers. The loss drops Daytona to 8-7.

"Enjoyed this one," Ortíz told the Lakeland Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
