The Fort Myers Miracle handed the Dunedin Blue Jays a 5-2 defeat at Hammond Stadium. Left Fielder Jim Huff starred for Fort Myers. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. The save went to Duane Hutchins, number 3 for him. Dunedin, with the loss, is still a hardy 5-2.

Huff contributed in the bottom of the third. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Fort Myers get the win.

Said losing manager Jose Mejia: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."
