Tradition Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the St. Lucie Mets and Tampa Yankees.

St. Lucie parlayed a decent outing from starter Colt Peters into a solid win over the Tampa Yankees. The final score was 4-3. Kel Turner picked up his 2nd save of the season.

In the bottom of the fifth, St. Lucie shortstop Bob Norwood had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and one out, Norwood stroked a run-scoring single to right-center. It made the score 3-2, St. Lucie. For the game, he went 2-4 with 2 singles, while scoring 2.
