Hillcats Slap 7-4 Loss on Wilmington
The Lynchburg Hillcats downed the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 7-4. The hitting star was shortstop Mike Smith. Smith was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 3 for the Hillcats. Orlando Castro earned the win to go to 5-8. He allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work. Kevin Dudley, credited with the save, is now 2 for 2 in save opportunities.
