The Frederick Keys welcomed the Carolina Mudcats to an night game at Harry Grove Stadium.

The Frederick Keys handed the Carolina Mudcats a sound defeat, 14-3, at Harry Grove Stadium. Tony Castro was a main contributor to the win. He was 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 7 for Frederick. Randy Delgado earned the win, while 23-year old center fielder Beau Carson took the loss for Carolina.

Early in the game, Castro had a grand slam home run for Frederick. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Keys on top, 6-2.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Castro told reporters after the game.

Frederick goes to 68-61, Carolina to 83-45.
