					| Nationals Get Clonked by Hillcats, 5-4 |
					| The Lynchburg Hillcats picked up a win at Ed Smith Stadium, knocking off the Potomac Nationals, 5-4. Starting pitcher Doug Bratcher was a big reason why. Bratcher, now 5-7, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 4 runs. Earning the save was Chad Cochrane. He's now cashed in 27 of 33 save opportunities.
Yoni Janvier drove in one run for Lynchburg. The 20-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Michal Bauerewski. It was his 11th RBI of the season.

"My job is to go out and execute," said Bratcher.

By defeating Potomac, the last-place Hillcats improved to 54-75.
