The Frederick Keys snuck past the Potomac Nationals, 6-5, in 10 innings. Frederick pitcher Conan Myers, in particular, had a standout performance. The win for the Keys raised their record to 60-56.

Joe Blanton delivered a big hit for Frederick. The shortstop drilled a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Keys ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"It's a good feeling when you fight so hard and win," said Keys manager Whit Merrifield.
