Potomac got a decent performance from pitcher Ken Adams, but it wasn't enough to beat the Frederick Keys. Frederick won the G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium contest, 6-2. Adams threw 8.1 innings of 7-hit ball for the losing team. Conan Myers, the winner, improved to 10-6. He held the Nationals to 2 runs on 5 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 2. With the win, the Keys sit at 56-50.

Frederick took a 6-2 lead on Dave McDaniel's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which McDaniel hit in the top of the ninth, left Potomac pitcher Leomar Pereda visibly frustrated.
