5-Hit Barrage by Coleman
Quentin Coleman put on a hitting clinic as the Myrtle Beach Pelicans dumped the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 10-0, at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium.

The Myrtle Beach center fielder made Wilmington defenders earn their pay, lashing Wilmington pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Coleman said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Quentin Coleman doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
