Wilmington Charts 5-3 Win Over Myrtle Beach
The Wilmington Blue Rocks defeated the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 5-3, in Carolina League action at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium. Wilmington pitcher Juan Ramírez had a standout performance. Wilmington reliever Rob Henderson got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Ty Wall was tagged with the loss. The win hiked the Wilmington record to 53-48.

Wilmington went up, 4-2, on Steve Crow's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Crow hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Myrtle Beach pitcher Ty Wall shaking his head.

Crow called the win "a collective effort."
