The Frederick Keys topped the Potomac Nationals, 5-2, at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium. Frederick shortstop Cris González was a spark plug for the offense. He went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Frederick has run its win streak to 5 consecutive.

González had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a full count slider from Sergio Fernández, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Keys a 5-2 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for González.

"This team is real focused right now," said Frederick manager Whit Merrifield.
