Behind a fine performance from Rob Larson, the Winston-Salem Dash knocked off the Lynchburg Hillcats, 7-6. Larson was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Dash. Winston-Salem is now 53-46, 4 games up in the Southern Division.

Larson had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-0 cutter from Doug Bratcher, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Dash a 7-5 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Larson.
