Chuck Ward, who is tied for 10th in the CAR in home runs with 9, had a 3-RBI night to help the Frederick Keys down the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 8-3. Dan Thompson went 5.2 innings for Frederick to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs. He scattered 8 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 6. His record improves to 4-5. Frederick now has a record of 41-37 with the win.
