The Frederick Keys beat the Potomac Nationals, 4-3, at Harry Grove Stadium. Frederick designated hitter Steve Stone, who is tied for 2nd in the CAR with a .537 slugging percentage, collected 4 singles and 1 double with 1 run batted in. Frederick is now 34-42, Potomac 32-44.

The Keys got a clutch hit from first baseman Rob Forrest. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Keys.
