Nationals Use Late Score to Top Hillcats, 3-2

The Potomac Nationals got a marvelous performance from pitcher Dylan Henderson. The right-hander kept the Lynchburg offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 3-2 Potomac victory at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium. The winner in relief was Don Cash. He is now 2-5. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. The defeat makes Lynchburg 35-40.
The Nationals got a clutch hit from designated hitter Héctor Rodríguez. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Nationals.
"Our team found a way to get it done," said Rodríguez.
