Stone Hits 2 home runs in Keys Win
Due in large part to second baseman Steve Stone, the Frederick Keys sunk the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 5-3. Stone was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The last-place Pelicans have dropped 5 straight games.

Stone had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 fastball from Augusto Balderas, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Keys a 5-2 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Stone.

"I like our mindset right now," said Frederick manager Whit Merrifield.
