The Carolina Mudcats knocked off the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 10-4, at Grainger Stadium. Jesús Batista was a big reason Carolina won. The catcher was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The win for the Mudcats raised their record to 45-24.
