Keys Suffer Humbling Loss
The Lynchburg Hillcats picked up a win at Harry Grove Stadium, knocking off the Frederick Keys, 13-3. On the mound for Lynchburg was left-hander Zander Kelly. He played a key role in the triumph. Earning his 2nd save for Lynchburg was Bert Riggs. Lynchburg is now 31-38, while Frederick is 36-33.

Jim Sizemore delivered a big hit for Lynchburg. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Hillcats ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

In comments to the Lynchburg Daily News, Sizemore admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
