Jeff O'Brian imposed his will on the Red Sox from the get-go. Relying mainly on his curveball, the right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 Frederick triumph. With the victory, the Keys upped their record to 33-31.

Frederick starter Jeff O'Brian was exceptional. The 6-foot-2 right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings of work.

"When he's dealing, Jeff is a tough customer," said Frederick manager Whit Merrifield.
