Ben Tucker, who is tied for 6th in the CAR with a 8.7 K/9 rate, propelled his team to victory over the Salem Red Sox. The final score was 8-2, Wilmington. The win hiked the Wilmington record to 32-24.

Geoff Snyder had a big grand slam home run for the Blue Rocks in the bottom of the first inning. With Wilmington leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from Ben Ballard and swatted a home run to left. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blue Rocks ahead, 5-0.

"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Tucker.
