The Frederick Keys topped the Wilmington Blue Rocks, 6-2, in Carolina League action at Harry Grove Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Frederick pitcher and Warrington Township, Pennsylvania, native Brit Hargrove. Frederick is now 25-18, 5 games up in the Northern Division.

In the bottom of the sixth, Frederick center fielder Roger Villalobos had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Villalobos stroked a run-scoring single to left-center. It made the score 4-2, Frederick. For the game, he was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk.

"Brit gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Frederick skipper Whit Merrifield.
