Potomac pitcher Desi Muller did his part in helping his team defeat the Carolina Mudcats, 4-0. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Potomac now sits at 13-27, while Carolina falls to 20-20.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the seventh inning, but Jim Matthews didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Carolina trailing 1-0, Matthews retired Ben Stevenson to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Matthews, with a wink.
