Blue Rocks Walk It Off for 22nd Win of Season
Myrtle Beach wasted a solid 8.2-inning effort from starting pitcher Víctor Trujillo, losing to Wilmington, 1-0, at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium. Wilmington reliever Johnathan Lowrance picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Víctor Trujillo took the loss. The first-place Blue Rocks have a one-game lead in their division.

The decisive blow was delivered by Chris Huggins in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Víctor Trujillo to win the game for Wilmington. The home crowd went nuts.

Huggins attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
