Led by Israel Menéndez, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans defeated the Salem Red Sox, 14-7. Menéndez, a native of League City, Texas, hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for the Pelicans. The Red Sox fall to 9-14 and continue their lackluster start to the 2025 season.

Arend Kooiman went 1-4 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for Myrtle Beach. The 21-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth.
