Red Sox Deal Nationals Painful Loss
The 9-8 Salem win over Potomac was due in large part to José Espinoza. The Red Sox shortstop was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With the loss, Potomac sinks to 7-15.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Espinoza hit a cutter from Dave Daniels for a run-scoring single. The Red Sox, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The fans went nuts at the end," Espinoza said.
