Juan Águila propelled his team to victory over the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. The final score was 6-2, Frederick. The Keys, now 14-6, have been sizzling early on.

The Keys got a big at-bat from second baseman Ron Stover. For the game, Stover went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 7th double of the season gave Frederick a 2-0 lead.

"Juan is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Frederick manager Whit Merrifield.
