The Winston-Salem Dash downed the Salem Red Sox, 21-1, at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium. The Dash were led by Matt Davison. Davison was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 8. Juan Vélez nailed down the save. The Red Sox, 9-9, continue their so-so start to the 2025 season.

With Winston-Salem leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Davison hit a fastball from Dan Bell for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Dash ahead, 4-0.

"It felt good to put the barrel on the ball," said Davison.
