Nationals Need Extra Frames to Get Past Blue Rocks
The Wilmington Blue Rocks got a superb performance from pitcher Aurelio Quintana, but the Potomac Nationals still won the game, 8-6. Quintana threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball. Potomac reliever Jeremy Hansen got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Pete Mousset was tagged with the loss. Wilmington now is 12-6.

The decisive blow was delivered by Chris Sampson in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a 2-run home run off 26-year old left-handed pitcher Pete Mousset to win the game for Potomac. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Sampson.
