Myrtle Beach Falls Again, 9-6
The Winston-Salem Dash beat the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, 9-6, at New Winston-Salem Ballpark. The win was due in part to left fielder Joe Bailey, who was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The win puts Winston-Salem at 9-5.

With Winston-Salem leading 5-2 in the bottom of the eighth, Bailey hit a slider from Bob Williams for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Dash ahead, 8-2.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Winston-Salem skipper Brent Metheny.
