The High Desert Mavericks downed the Inland Empire 66ers, 7-3, at San Manuel Stadium. José López led the way, going 2-for-4 for High Desert. Enrico Flores was the winner. He's now 5-12. The loser was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Juan Méndez. Ben Tucker earned save number 6 this season.
