JetHawks Lose at Home, 6-1

The Lancaster JetHawks had to reckon with Rancho Cucamonga Quakes hurler Julián Segura. Segura, who is tied for 10th in the CAL in wins with 8, overwhelmed the opposition in the 6-1 Quakes triumph. Segura picked up the win for Rancho Cucamonga, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 8-2. With the win, the Quakes sit at 63-59.
Bobby Mills went 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Rancho Cucamonga. The 25-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a 2-run single off Mal Morrison. It was his 130th hit of the season.
"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Mills after the game.
