Kirkpatrick Gets 5 Hits
Joel Kirkpatrick said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Stater Bros. Stadium, and it showed in the box score. The High Desert catcher had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Lancaster JetHawks, leading his club to victory, 11-4.

"I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Kirkpatrick said later."

Joel Kirkpatrick singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
