The Visalia Rawhide beat the Lake Elsinore Storm, 17-3, at Recreation Park. The Rawhide got a fine performance from first baseman Joe Reynolds, who was 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 and driving in 5. Visalia reliever Ed Norton picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Greg Lewry took the loss. The Storm, at 39-69, have lost 5 in a row.

Reynolds had a key at-bat for Visalia in the bottom of the first. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 21st double of the season and gave Visalia an early 2-0 lead.
