The Lancaster JetHawks went home winners at The Hanger, thanks in large part to starter Phil Perkins. Perkins stifled the San Jose Giants, enabling Lancaster to grab the 2-1 win. Sam Sheeran, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2020 draft, picked up the win in relief. Rob Dalmahoy took the loss for San Jose. Lancaster, at 60-33, is 11½ games up in the South Division.

Eric Martin was the walk-off hero for Lancaster. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the JetHawks right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said San Jose manager Steve Liddle, "let me know."
