Ports Get One-Run Win at Inland Empire
The Stockton Ports used the hitting of third baseman Bob Tranter to subdue the Inland Empire 66ers, 4-3. For the game, Tranter was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Han-soo Lee was the winner. He's now 7-5. The loser was 20-year old right-handed pitcher Rob Gordon. The win elevated the Ports to 45-45.

Early in the game, Tranter had a 3-run home run for Stockton. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Ports on top, 3-0.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Tranter.
