Behind the bravura of designated hitter Mike MacIntosh, the Inland Empire 66ers topped the Bakersfield Blaze by the score of 11-7. MacIntosh was 4 for 5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the 66ers. Picking up the win was Robby Ford. He went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits.
