66ers Deal Lancaster 6-4 Defeat
|
Johnny Givens had a good game, but he could not keep the Lancaster JetHawks from falling, 6-4, to the Inland Empire 66ers at The Hanger. The Lancaster first baseman slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice in the loss. Inland Empire is now 44-42, Lancaster 44-42.
With no one out in the top of the first, Dave Burnett put Inland Empire in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The 66ers went on to win the ballgame.
"Winning never gets dull," said Burnett.
