Inland Empire used a superb performance from starting pitcher Chris Walsh to down the Lancaster JetHawks, 3-0. Walsh yielded no runs over 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 4, and struck out 6. His record improves to 2-2. The second-place 66ers go to 35-30.

Inland Empire used the hitting of Dave Richardson to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the 66ers on top, 3-0. For the game, Richardson had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Chris was dictating to their hitters," said Inland Empire manager Kent Matthes.
