The Inland Empire 66ers earned a close win over the Visalia Rawhide, thanks in part to Chris Walsh. The Inland Empire right-hander played a key role in the 3-1 victory. The 66ers now have a record of 25-26 with the win over Visalia.

Darryl Palácios took Visalia hurler Dave Wells deep in the bottom of the third. His 2-run home run put the 66ers on top, 2-0. In all, Palácios had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
