White goes 3-for-4 as Blaze Squeeze Past San Jose
The Bakersfield Blaze defeated the San Jose Giants by the score of 11-10, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Bobby White. White went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 3 for the Blaze on the day. Bakersfield is now 25-25. San Jose is 28-22.

Bakersfield center fielder Juan Báez contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a slider to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 44th hit of the season and put the Blaze ahead, 7-5.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Joe McEwing said.
