Lake Elsinore Gets 5-2 Win
The Lake Elsinore Storm picked up a win at San Manuel Stadium, topping the Inland Empire 66ers, 5-2. On the mound for Lake Elsinore was right-hander Dan Arredondo. He played a principal role in the triumph. Jorge Castillo sewed up the save, his 6th. The 'W' lifts Lake Elsinore's record to 21-18.

Lake Elsinore second baseman Tim Lawson contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the second. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 18th hit of the season and put the Storm ahead, 3-1.

Lawson attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
