Quakes Need Extra Innings to Top 66ers, 11-10
Inland Empire designated hitter Bob Moore had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 11-10, to Rancho Cucamonga in 18 innings. Moore went 4-8 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Octávio Vázquez snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-2 on the season. Dylan Locke suffered the loss. Rancho Cucamonga has won 3 straight, while Inland Empire has lost 3 in a row.

The Quakes got a clutch hit from center fielder Bob Morris. In the bottom of the 18th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Quakes.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Morris.
