Mills, Quakes March to 7-3 Victory
Bobby Mills powered the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes to a win over the Lancaster JetHawks. The final score was 7-3. The Rancho Cucamonga third baseman, who is tied for 4th in the CAL in hits with 27, was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 3 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 2 doubles. Picking up his 3rd save was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Ken Smith. Lancaster, with the loss, is still a hardy 15-6.

It could have been a different outcome for Rancho Cucamonga, had it not been for Eric Columbus, the former first round draft pick . Columbus contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Rancho Cucamonga up, 2-1.
