Kirkham, 66ers Ring Up 6-4 Win
The Inland Empire 66ers downed the San Jose Giants, 6-4, at San Manuel Stadium. Trevor Kirkham led the way, going 3-for-4 for Inland Empire. Picking up the win was Mike Owens. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 7 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 2. The Giants drop to 6-7 and continue their mediocre start to the 2025 season.

Inland Empire took a 6-1 lead on Kirkham's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off José Rocha in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Inland Empire to the win.

"We played hard and won," said Kirkham. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
