Rancho Cucamonga starter Jonathan Craft put a stranglehold on the Lake Elsinore offense. The left-hander had complete command of his curveball in leading the Quakes to a 6-0 win. The win puts Rancho Cucamonga at 5-7.

Lake Elsinore had a runner on 1st in the top of the eighth. With one out, Gilberto Trujillo stood at the plate, hoping to find a gap. Instead, he struck out. The score remained 2-0, Rancho Cucamonga. The Storm never could mount a comeback.
