Rawhide Lose to Blaze in Walk-Off
The Bakersfield Blaze downed the Visalia Rawhide, 7-5, at Historic Sam Lynn Ballpark. Chris Price led the way, going 3-for-4 for Bakersfield. Chad Payling picked up the win in relief. Josh Emerson took the loss for Visalia. The Rawhide fall to 4-6 and continue their wobbly start to the 2025 season.

Bakersfield got a clutch hit from Eric Columbus. The first baseman launched a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Price said in his postgame press conference.
