The Inland Empire 66ers topped the Lake Elsinore Storm, 2-1, in California League action at San Manuel Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Inland Empire pitcher Mike Owens. Shawn Rice, now 1-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. With the loss, Lake Elsinore falls to 6-2.
