Sam Bacon was dynamite at Lake Elsinore Diamond, blowing away the Inland Empire 66ers in a shutout victory. The Lake Elsinore Storm starter had everything working as he held the 66ers to 4 hits in the 11-0 win.

"He was pure nasty out there today," said Inland Empire skipper Kent Matthes. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
